AI Disclaimer
This AI Disclaimer applies to the artificial intelligence features of KaelSite, including Kael, our built-in AI assistant, and AI report drafting (together, "AI features"). KaelSite is a trading style of Finodax Ltd ("we", "us" or "our"). It applies on kaelsite.com and in the KaelSite mobile app, and it should be read with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Nature of AI-generated content
AI features produce text such as answers, summaries, draft reports and guidance by using machine-learning models. This content is generated automatically. It may be incomplete, out of date, misleading or wrong, even when it sounds confident. The same question may also receive different answers at different times.
Treat everything produced by AI features as a draft. A suitably qualified and competent person must review it before you rely on it, sign it or send it to anyone.
2. Not a substitute for professional judgement or advice
AI features do not provide legal, regulatory, health and safety, engineering, design or other professional advice. They are not a substitute for:
- a site inspection or the judgement of a competent person;
- a temporary works design, check or approval;
- your organisation's safety procedures, permits and risk assessments;
- advice from a qualified professional.
AI features may refer to standards, regulations or guidance, such as CDM 2015 or BS 5975. These references may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Always check them against the official, current texts. Never rely on an AI answer alone for a decision that could affect the safety of people or property.
3. No guarantee of accuracy or completeness
We do not promise that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose. We do not promise that AI features will be available without interruption or error.
4. Human accountability
You and your organisation stay responsible for your inspections, reports, records and decisions, including any that you make with the help of AI features. The AI does not take responsibility for them, and neither do we. Please check, edit and approve all AI-assisted content before you use it. If you share AI-assisted content with others, such as a client or an inspector, you are responsible for what it says.
5. How AI features use your data
Kael and our other AI features are powered by third-party AI providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Groq and Google. When you use them, we send these providers your messages and the information needed to answer them, such as [the parts of your project records or documents relevant to your question, and recent messages in the same chat]. They process this on our behalf to produce a reply, and they may do so outside the UK and EEA.
Please do not enter information into AI features that you do not want processed in this way, and do not enter anyone else's personal data unless you have the right to. Using AI features is optional, and the rest of KaelSite works without them.

6. Limits of our responsibility
Nothing in this disclaimer limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or damage that results from relying on AI-generated content without checking it, as set out above and in our Terms of Service.
7. Changes to this disclaimer
We may update this disclaimer from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with its "last updated" date. If you keep using AI features after a change, we treat that as your acceptance of the updated version. Where a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app.
