Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy applies to the KaelSite website (kaelsite.com) and the KaelSite web application. The KaelSite mobile app does not use cookies for advertising or tracking. For the data the mobile app collects, see our Privacy Policy at kaelsite.com/privacy/.
KaelSite is a trading style of Finodax Ltd, which is responsible for the cookies described in this policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and provide reporting information to site owners. Similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels) may be used for the same purposes and are covered by this policy.
2. How we use cookies
We group cookies into three categories, which match the choices in our cookie banner.
| Category | Purpose | Can you opt out? |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Required for the Site and KaelSite application to work and stay secure, for example keeping you logged in, protecting against malicious traffic, and remembering your cookie choices | No. These cannot be switched off via our cookie tool |
| Analytics | Help us understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, time on site, general location) so we can improve content and usability | Yes |
| Marketing | Measure the effectiveness of our advertising and help us show more relevant ads | Yes |
Analytics and Marketing cookies are only set if you choose to allow them.

4. How we handle your consent (Google Consent Mode)
We use Google Consent Mode to tell Google’s services what you have agreed to. Before you make a choice, all optional consent signals are set to “denied”. Your choices then work as follows:
- Accept all allows Analytics and Marketing.
- Reject non-essential keeps both denied.
- Save choices stores each choice separately.
Analytics consent controls analytics_storage. Marketing consent controls ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization.
If you have not allowed a category, the related Google cookies are not set. Google tags on the Site may still send limited, non-identifying signals (for example, that a page was viewed) that are not linked to cookies or a persistent identifier.
If you withdraw consent for a category, we stop using it and remove the related cookies from your browser where we are able to.
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are placed by third parties whose services appear on our Site. We do not control these cookies. Please refer to the third party’s own policy for more information:
- Google (Analytics, Ads, Display & Video 360): policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
- Cloudflare: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
Data collected through Google services may be processed by Google outside the UK. See our Privacy Policy for details of how we protect personal data transferred internationally.
6. Managing your cookie preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it:
- Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page on kaelsite.com to reopen the banner and change your choices for Analytics and Marketing.
- Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies (note this may affect how the Site works).
- For Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- For Google ads, you can manage personalised advertising in your Google Ad Settings.
7. Legal basis
Under UK data protection law (including the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR)), we obtain your consent before setting non-essential cookies, that is, Analytics and Marketing cookies. Essential cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional Site, and do not require consent.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies and technologies we use, or for legal or regulatory reasons. When we add new categories of cookies, we will ask for your consent again. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
