Written guide

  1. In the navigation bar, select Issues.
  2. Select New issue.
  3. Enter a Title. This is required.
  4. Select the Project the issue belongs to. This is required.
  5. (Optional) Set the Priority. It starts as Medium.
  6. (Optional) Add a Description, and choose an Issue Type. It starts as General Issue.
  7. (Optional) Use Assign To to give the issue to one of your team members, if you have any.
  8. (Optional) Choose a Work Item and an Inspection. What you choose decides where the issue is filed:
    • No work item and no inspection: the issue is at project level.
    • A work item but no inspection: the issue is at work item level.
    • An inspection: the issue is linked to that inspection.
  9. (Optional) Set a Due Date. KaelSite adds it to your reminders and calendar.
  10. (Optional) Add User Notes.
  11. (Optional) Set the Location by typing latitude and longitude, or select Use current location. Select Clear to remove it.
  12. Select Create Issue.

Good to know: if you delete a work item, the issues logged against it are deleted too. Issues at project level are not.
