Written guide

You need a work item before you can do any inspection. Each project can contain many work items.

  1. Open the project and, in Quick Actions, select Add Work Item/Task.

Basic Information

  1. Choose a Work Item Category. The categories available depend on the project type you chose when you created the project. This is required.
  2. Choose a Work Item Type. The types shown depend on the category you selected, so choose the category first. This is required.
  3. Set the Status: Designed, Erected, Approved, Loaded or Dismantled. New work items start as Designed.
  4. (Optional) Enter a Name / Code, such as "Bay 3" or "TW-12", so the work item is easy to recognise.
  5. (Optional) Add a Description.

Work Item Location

  1. (Optional) Set where the work item is, the same way as for a project. Type the Latitude and Longitude, or select Use current location to use your device's GPS. The map preview appears once both values are set. Select Clear location to remove them.

Technical Details

  1. Enter the Design Reference, which is the design reference number or document ID.
  2. Set the Load Date, which is when the work item will be loaded.
  3. Select Create Work Item. To leave without saving, select Cancel.

What happens next: the work item is added to the project and you can start inspections on it.
