How syncing works When your iPhone or iPad reconnects to the internet, KaelSite syncs your offline changes automatically. You don't need to do anything. For best results, keep the app running. You can minimise it or switch to another app and it will still sync, but don't close it completely by swiping it away in the app switcher.
Get ready before you go on site
- While you have a connection, open the Projects page so the app fetches all your project details. KaelSite needs this before you can use quick actions or create an inspection for a project.
- Open the checklists you expect to use, so they are downloaded and available offline.
- Check you are signed in.
- Once on site, work as normal. Create your inspections, issues and notes, and let KaelSite sync when you are back in signal.
What's not in the mobile app Some tasks are done in the KaelSite web panel:
- Reports. The report editor runs in a browser. To draft a report with Kael, open the KaelSite panel in Safari on your iPhone or iPad, or on a computer. See Draft a report with Kael.
- Datasheets.
- Checklist Studio. You can use the checklists you've already downloaded in the app, but you create and edit templates on the web.
