Delete a project
Permanently delete a project and all the data that belongs to it. This cannot be undone, so read what will be removed before you confirm.

Before you start: deleting a project is permanent. Make sure you have saved any records you still need.
What will be deleted
Deleting a project removes everything linked to it:
- Work items
- Inspections
- Notes
- Issues
- Diary entries
- Notifications
- Communications
Steps
- Open the project you want to delete.
- In Quick Actions, select Delete Project.
- A Confirm Deletion window opens. Read the warning.
- Type delete in the confirmation box.
- Select Delete Project.
To keep the project, select Cancel or close the window. Nothing is deleted until you complete step 5.
What happens next: the project and all its data are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
