Delete Account

Before you start: deleting your account is permanent once the grace period ends. If you only want to pause billing, cancelling your subscription keeps your account and data. See Update payment method or cancel subscription.

Request deletion

1. In the app, select Delete account, or go to panel.kaelsite.com/settings/delete-account/.
2. KaelSite sends a code to your phone. Enter it to confirm.

What happens straight away

• Your account is deactivated. You are logged out everywhere and cannot use the app.
• Your subscription is set to cancel at the end of the current billing period, so you are not charged again.

The grace period

Your grace period lasts until whichever is later: 14 days from your request, or the end of your current subscription period.

• You won't be able to log in to your account. To restore your account, contact our team by email at [email protected].
• After your account is reactivated, everything is restored as it was. If your subscription has already ended, you choose a plan again.
• If you do nothing, your account stays frozen and your data stays safe for the grace period. After that, if you have not reactivated, your account and all your data will be permanently deleted.

Example: you request deletion on 4 Oct, and your monthly subscription runs to 20 Oct. The 14-day mark would be 18 Oct, but your subscription ends later, so your grace period ends on 20 Oct. You can reactivate any time up to then.

After the grace period: permanent deletion

• You, your projects, files, notes, inspections and AI chats are permanently deleted, including files in storage.
• Billing records (invoices, payment history, Stripe IDs) are kept, because UK law requires it. They are kept separately from your account, so they are not affected by the deletion.
• Only the fact that a deletion happened is logged. No personal data is kept in that record.

Option 2: request deletion by email

If you prefer, email [email protected] from the email address registered to your account, with "Account deletion request" in the subject. We process your request and delete your account and personal data, except anything we are required or permitted to keep by law, security, fraud-prevention or regulatory requirements.
